Chromeleon Xpress provides real-time control and monitoring of Dionex chromatography instruments. Chromeleon Xpress can be used to control up to four chromatography systems (Timebases) connected to one local Chromatography Server.
Functions
You can use Chromeleon Xpress to perform the following tasks:
Operate system instruments manually (direct control)
Operate system instruments automatically (programmed control)
Monitor instrument status
View real-time data
Collect and view the system event log (Audit Trail)
Perform calibration and diagnostic functions (System Wellness)
Configurations
Chromeleon Xpress (with the standard Chromeleon Control-only server) provides only the instrument control and data-related functions described above. Data acquisition and data analysis are not provided. This configuration is intended for use when a third-party chromatography data system is used for acquiring and analyzing data.
Chromeleon Xpress/Server provides data acquisition in addition to the instrument control and data-related functions described above. This configuration is intended for use when a simplified controller without data analysis capabilities is desired at the instrument, and data analysis is performed on a separate Chromeleon PC.
